Catalina Island - Visualizing Science project

Here is a test render of Catalina Island that me and Prof. Eric Hanson are working on. L.A. coast is right now an island but I'm putting together the DEM files to correct it. I'll post more information about this project soon.

You wouldn't be willing to share the DEM of Catalina Island for a private, non-profit purpose, would you?
I am experimenting with Digital Elevation Models in 3dsMAX and am trying to work the kinks out of editing the resulting models. I am trying specifically to get Santa Catalina Island.

Thank You.

Hello,

The DEM source files and the rest of the world can be found for free on one of the government websites... I will post the link to it once I find it. Then you need other softwares to export them in a form that 3Dmax understands.

I work at USC and I am doing work related to Catalina Island and I have been looking for high resolution DEMS. I am wondering what kind of resolution you have.
